I don't know where it came from....

but my liking of owls came from "oh yes that's a cute owl" to me wanting every owl craft item or garden ornament I can find! LOL  So as soon as I saw these Marianne Owls I had to have them.  For this card I teamed the Marianne Owls with the New Marianne Stitched circle flowers and leaves and the very fabulous Karen Burniston's Pop N Cut 3d label frame die.  All the materials are from Crafts U Love.

Items Used :

Pop N cuts - London!

Today I have teamed my Karen Burniston Pop n cuts Sizzix 3d suitcase with the Penny Black London cling stamp and the Penny Black clear set called "Love London" to make a very patriotic card :)

Luckily I had squirrelled away some of my Portabello Road
papers.  And look see those cute little colourful dots at the front, they are
called Twinkle Goosebumps and toooooo cute!

And I have another suitcase coming later too, I have been a busy pop n cutting girl!

We loved Butlins :)

My family and I went on holiday to Butlins recently, the kids loved it.  The weather was really kind to us and the it was sunny all weekend.  With the absence of Spain this break will have to do this year.

I wanted to use my newest pop n cuts die, the Karen Burniston 3D Suitcase die and matching Bigz die.  I got mine from Crafts U Love.

I have another one or two samples of the same die to share soon :)
So please pop back tomorrow

Pop N Cuts - Cosy Chair

Hi there me again.  Today I am sharing a card I made for my Mums birthday.  Again for this card I used the fantastic Pop n Cuts chair from Sizzix designed by Karen Burniston.  I used the main pop up die with the Foyer embossing folder set.

I used the bottom of the light to become a vase and I added a photo of my boys
to make it very special to my Mum.

All materials are from Crafts U Love

Pop n Cuts - Coffee Break

Today's card was made using the Karen Burniston / Sizzix Pop n Cuts
die called 3D Mug and Heart.
I got mine from Crafts U Love (of course)
I also used the NEW XL Horizontal A2 Card base die with Square Decorated Edge
and the the new Coffee Textured Impressions embossing folder and a
collection of my very old but treasured House Mouse stamps.

So if you've got to make a coffee date why not make the perfect "lets do coffee" card
sure to impress!  This of course can be made into a "lets do tea" card too as it is a
very generic mug.

Karen Burniston Pop n Cuts - Chair

Karen Burniston has another release of Pop n Cuts dies with Sizzix and I could not wait to get
hold of them, its been a long long time since seeing them.  Crafts U Love have them in stock :)

Here is my second "chair" card, the first one I cant share yet :) as it may be for someone specials birthday coming up soon.

Planning these little room scenes makes you look at your stash in another way! trying to work
out if I have all the props I need.  On this card I used one of the Brand New Penny Black
stamps.  This little dog is in fact a dog bouncing a football on his nose, but I at once recognised
that pose as one of a sleeping dog since my Milo sleeps like that all the time.

The floor was stamped with the Hero Arts Stamp, the rug and table are part of an embossing folder
set by Sizzix.  The Newspaper is an old Stampendous Stamp, as is the little bone propped up on the chair leg.  The dog in the frame was made using some Imaginesce paper and the shape was made using a Stampin' Up! punch and a square punch.  The vase was made using the same embossing folder set as the table and rug and by Sizzix, this is actually a lamp but I just cut it down and added some Joy! foliage.

I hope you have enjoyed looking and I will be back soon with another card.

January round-up!

So sorry blogging friends, I don't know where time has gone.  Here is a round up of a few January crafts

This is a birthday card I made for one of my boys friends and a little bear card I made with my NEW CAMEO, yep, my new baby and I LOVE IT!

Here is a card  made with the adorable new die from Marianne and  Hero Arts stamp for the frame.

Here is another Cameo card made using a file from Miss Kates Cuttables
she sells the most adorable SVG's and if you upgrade your Cameo software
you can use these. Also I used the sketch pens to make the wording.

Lastly here is a print and cut card I made using my Cameo and the print and
cut function.  I got my machine from work (of course)  www.craftsulove.co.uk
I have well and truly been won over from Cricut to the Cameo, I love it.
